Alright, in our last post we talked about ways to involve your kids as you head back into homeschooling. Today, we’ve got a few ideas on how you can ease yourself back into it as well.
- Remember why you’re homeschooling. Why did you start? What were you hoping for? Keep those goals in mind and you’ll find you have much more patient in the sometimes trying days ahead.
- Get organized! Of course, this is only if you haven’t already. Have you got a plan for the year? Is it complete? Flexible? Look it over again and make sure it is exactly how you’d like to go through this year with your children.
- Communicate. Keep up communication with everyone involved in your homeschooling. Whether it’s your spouse, your child’s elective teacher, or anyone else, keep talking to them and make sure they understand your plan as well as you do. This goes double for your child!
